The Children's
Services
In the Children's Room you'll find
an inviting atmosphere that features a collection of approximately
25,000 books. We also have computers for children to use in fifteen
minute intervals, educational toys, a felt board and a separate storytime room. If
you have any questions about the Children's Department or the following
schedule of events please contact the Children's Librarian at 635-0603.

Ages Listen to stories about Valentine’s
Day, sing songs, and create a Valentine’s craft with the girls of Troop 1204! This program is limited to 15

TIME FUN with Junior Girl
Scout Troop 1204 Friday, April Ages Celebrate the spring with Junior
Girl Scout Troop 1204. Watch a puppet show, learn how to make a craft, and enjoy Irish music and dance!

THE
BEAUTY AND GRACE OF JUGGLING with Jennifer Shaw Monday, April 14 Ages 3 and up No Registration Required In a breathtakingly beautiful blend
of juggling and dance, 2002 International Juggler’s
Association Three Ball Champion Jennifer Shaw will present a
program of graceful and artistic juggling. Her
signature 3 ball act is a dance set to instrumental hip-hop music. Slaw
dances around the balls and at all times, the balls weave in and out of
her legs and around her body! This

TO MOVE BY with Ann Wild Wednesday, May 21 Newborn to 4
years This program is designed to
musically engage your preschooler or infant in a way that is developmentally
appropriate. Through the use of song, movement,
guitar, shakey eggs, and scarves and
drums, professional musician Ann Wild creates a musical environment
that is sure to delight and inspire the musician in your
child. This event is made
possible by The Friends of The Library MOVIE
TIME! Children of all ages are invited to
watch movies at the library on the following
mornings in January: Monday, January 14 and Thursday, January 24. And the following mornings in April
and May: Mondays, April 28 and May 12.
